Herschel O'Kelley

Funeral services for Herschel O’Kelley, 73, of Anniston will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Shane Suggs and Rev. Bill Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Patton’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Mr. O’Kelley passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Pat O’Kelley of Anniston; daughter, Dianna (Lengy) Norwood of Alexandria; sons; Michael O’Kelley, Johnny (Bobbie) O’Kelley all of Anniston, Jimmy (Kathy) O’Kelley of Heflin; grandchildren, Lora (Johnathon) Meharg, Jimmielea (Eron) Hernandez, David Jones, Christopher Denney, Loretta O’Kelley, Jimmy O’Kelley, Jr., Autumn O’Kelley; great-grandchildren, Kadance Meharg and Elia Hernandez; brother, Kenneth O’Kelley of North Carolina; sisters, Helen McIntosh of Georgia, Virginia O’Kelley of Chicago, Shirley O’Kelley of North Carolina and Millie Faye Hall of Pleasant Valley.

Mr. O’Kelley is preceded in death by parents, Wallace and Marie O’Kelley; brother, Milton O’Kelley; and sister, Jeanette Girsch.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Denney, Eron Hernandez, Johnathon Meharg, David Jones, Levi Batey and Scott Cochran.
