Funeral services for Howard Ray Thomas, 85, of Oxford will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Brother Alvin Lanier officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at Gray Brown. Mr. Thomas passed away October 1, 2014 in Munford.
Survivors include his children, Betty Terrell (Donald), Sharon Bailey (Randy), John Thomas (Virginia), Edison Thomas (Tammy), Patrick Thomas (Leigh); 10
grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.Mr.Thomas is preceded in death by his wife,Luna Bell Thomas; son, Howard R. Thomas Jr. Mr. Thomas was a native of Oxford. He was the owner of Bells Novelty and Casting Company and was a devout Jehovah’sWitness.
