

Memorial service for James Richard “Jimmy” Haynes, 76, of Anniston will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Minister Mike Farrell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Haynes died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at RMC Anniston after a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Haynes; children, Randy Haynes (Colleen) of Carterville, Ga., Michael Haynes of Rome, Ga., Allan Haynes of Anniston, and Alana Haynes Needham (Ken) of Birmingham; grandchildren, Amy Brewton (Joe), Bayley Haynes, Cameron Haynes, Elizabeth Haynes, Jackson Haynes, Jayson Haynes, Katie Haynes, Mallory Haynes, Megan Haynes, Brandie Mobbs (Jamie), Harrison Needham, Houston Needham, Hunter Needham; great-grandchildren, Henley Brewton, Joseph James Brewton, Cadence Cash, Blakley Mobbs, Zayley Mobbs; sister, Magdalyne Stephens of Anniston; nieces and nephews, Michelle Walker, Danny Hamonds, DeWayne Hamonds, Tracy Sargent, Shannon Faulk and Rodney Haynes.
Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his parents, G.J. and Ruby Haynes and brother, Donnie Haynes.
Mr. Haynes was a lifelong resident of Anniston. He was an iron worker for Local 92 and worked many years at Haynes Wrecker Service and Garage. He enjoyed horses, hunting, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
