Weaver – Memorial services for Mr. James Earl Stringfellow Sr., 81, of Weaver will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Weaver 1st United Methodist Church with Rev. James E. Stringfellow Jr. and Rev. Matthew Headley officiating.
Mr. Stringfellow passed on March 14, 2015 at his residence in Weaver.
Mr. Stringfellow is survived by his wife, June Howard Stringfellow; daughter, Kathy (Wayne) Williams; sons, James E. (Lynn) Stringfellow Jr. and Gil E. (Cindy) Stringfellow; brother, Curtis E. Stringfellow; grandchildren, Amy Maniscalco, Adam Williams, Ryan Stringfellow, Seth Stringfellow, Jenni Harvey, and Michael Stringfellow; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stringfellow was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Mr. Stringfellow was a native of Lee county and resident of Calhoun County for most of his life; a member of Weaver 1st United Methodist Church. Mr. Stringfellow was an avid gardener, loved to cook, and enjoyed watching Alabama football, and loved his family.
