Survivors include two daughters, Julie Hope (Don) and Tina Smith (Brandon), sisters, Eunice Brooks and Evelyn Rhule, brother, Jimmy Newcomb (Blanca), grandchildren, Caryn Waugh (Jason), Nathan Smith (Farren), Joe Smith and Noah Smith, great grandchildren, Dylan Pontero and Jace Waugh, numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Reese and brother, Harold Newcomb.

Mrs. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mrs. Thompson was an avid artist, gardener and loved to share her faith.
