John "Marty" Goldman

John "Marty" Goldman, 68, of Anniston passed away on November 21, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father John L. Goldman and mother Helen Cross. John loved Jesus and his family, he loved attending his church. John had a passion for building and you could always find him in the shop working on something. He loved his Honda Valkyrie motorcycle and loved to ride. John had battled his diabetes and the disease proved fatal. John will be missed by all that loved him and we have a lifetime of memories that will keep him forever with us. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Goldman, daughters Amy Goldman and Laura New, sons Michael Goldman, Jeremy New and Jesse New, grandchildren Katelyn and Will Brooks, sister Linda Compton (Gene), brother Mike Wood. John sang with Woodlawn Warblers for a few years. John was a member of GWRRA motorcycle family. We will have a memorial service for John, December 4, 2021 at 2 PM. Pastor Keith Merritt will lead us in a Celebration of life at the Weaver Congregational Methodist Church. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Diabetes Research Institute.
