Funeral service for Johnny Madison Alexander, 47, will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Bro. Chris Connell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Leticia Alexander; daughter, Desiree (Eric) Benefield; mother, Glenda Patterson; sister, Lisa (William) Fleming; brother, Michael Alexander; grandchildren, Destiny Grace, Eric Jr. and Raylynn Danielle; nieces and nephews, Scotty (Ashley) Foote, Johnathan (Yolanda) Lewis, Mikey Alexander and Courtney Scoggins. Mr. Alexander is preceded in death by his father, Charles Alexander Jr.; brother, Charles Edward Alexander; brother-in-law, Grady Nelson and step-father, Alex Patterson. Mr. Alexander was a native of Anniston, attended Saks High School, and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
