Jonathan Michael Brooks, age 35, of Oxford, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Jonathan was born November 15, 1985 in AL to Elizabeth Brooks and Larry Brooks.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Shenna Brooks; his son Jaxon Brooks; and his daughter Skylar Brooks; his mother Elizabeth Brooks and his father Larry Brooks; his brother Shannon Brooks (Julie); and several nieces and nephews.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandmother Lottie Brooks, his grandmother Virginia Raughton, and his grandfather Artis Raughton.
Funeral services for Jonathan will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Todd Borders officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are John Gorman, Jaden Henegar, Matthew Raughton, Casey Raughton, Shawn Quackenbush and Zach Pressley.
Jonathan was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He graduated from Wellborn High School and also Jacksonville State University. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and an avid Alabama Football Fan. Jonathan was a wonderful husband and father who provided well for his family. He was a Godly man and a blessing to all that knew him. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
