Survivors include his wife Kathy Cooper, son JC Cooper and numerous other family members.
Joey is preceded in death by his father Glenn Cooper, mother Sybil Johnson, sister Summer Kay (John).
Joey was a resident of Anniston and a 1989 graduate of Walter Welborn High School. He was an avid Auburn fan and loved fishing. He was an amazing husband and father whom was loved and will be greatly missed.
