Funeral service for Mr. Joseph D. Reid, 71, of Anniston will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Minister Steve Robertson, Pastor Lamar Hahn and Elder J.D. Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 at the funeral home. Mr. Reid died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Noland Hospital in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Ossie Jacks Reid of Anniston; four children, Nathan (Mary) Pritchett, Cindy (Buddy) Clark, Hope (Harry) Carter, Hank (Carolyn) Pritchett; grandchildren, Kenny (Michelle) Pritchett, Diana Pritchett, Andrew Hartley, Lucas Carter, Maverick Pritchett, Christian Carter, Tabathia Pritchett, Julie Clark; two great-grandchildren, Kaden Pritchett and Warren Pritchett; two sisters, Sarah Frances (Charles) Hardy and Lillie Mae Bell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded in death by parents, Millard F. and Sarah Stewart Reid and brother, G.W. Reid.
Pallbearers will be family members.
