Funeral service for Mrs. Kathy Marlene Johnson-Matherson of Anniston will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Harvest Church of God with Bishop Jerry Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm at the church.
Mrs. Matherson passed away August 23, 2015 at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, John Thomas Matherson; brothers, Doug Johnson (Shelly), Al Johnson and Marcus Johnson; niece, Diana West (Mark), nephew, Grant Johnson; mother-in-law, Vicki Matherson-Lemermann; and father-in-law, David Matherson (Carol).
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Marlene Korner Johnson and her father, Harold Douglas Johnson, Sr.
Kathy was a graduate of Alexandria High School and attended Jacksonville State University. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious personality. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
