Funeral Service for Larry Knight, 63, of Anniston will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Eulaton First Baptist. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the funeral home. Mr. Knight passed away on Monday in Anniston.
Mr. Knight is survived by his daughter, Bridget Martinez (Shawn); grandchildren Ashlyn and Leyton Martinez; and his best friend Aletha Garrison-Fitzgerald.
He is preceded in death by his parents James R. and Clara Knight.
Mr. Knight was a native of Anniston, but lived in New Orleans for 40 years before returning to Anniston 10 years ago. He was a master auto mechanic with talented hands. He was employed with Southern Star Motors for the past 10 years. He enjoyed camping - especially at Mt. Cheaha, motorcycles, and football – particularly Alabama, LSU, and New Orleans Saints.
He was a devoted father and had such pride and love for his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
