He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Harris, and his sons, Anthony Harris (Jan) and Yancy Harris (Michelle). Lewis was a proud grandfather to Abbott Dubose (Dillon), Brice Harris (Kasey), Zoe Harris, Mary Elizabeth Harris, Yancy Keith Harris, Isabella Harris, Brasher Harris, Garret Johnston (Catherine), and Kaitlyn Anderson (Garrett). He also cherished his great-grandchildren, Alexis Dubose, Adelyn Dubose, Teagan Harris, Collins Johnston, and Sutton Johnston. His brother, Gary Harris (Priscilla), and brother-in-law, Larry Brasher (Marie), also survive him, along with several nieces and nephews.
Lewis was predeceased by his parents, Brice and Mary Ola Harris, and his brothers, B.W. Harris and Terry Harris.
Lewis loved his family and was immensely proud of his grandchildren. His personal interests included hunting, flying, and spending time outdoors in the woods. He was also an avid golfer.
In his community, Lewis served as a long-time deacon at Zion Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, where he was deeply involved and respected.
Visitation will be held at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, located at 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 362014651, on January 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm and will be officiated by Rev. Kevin Jones. A graveside service will be conducted at Forestlawn Gardens, 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207, at 3:00 pm.
