Linda Ferguson Owens, age 78, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at RMC-Anniston Hospital, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Linda at Eulaton United Methodist Church 401 Westover Road, Anniston, Alabama on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2PM
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gene Owens; parents, Doug and Minnie Ferguson; sister, Kathy Ferguson Allsup; and brother, Tommy Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Mark) Trotter; step-daughters, Cyndi Owens Nelson and Jayda (Scott) Wood; grandchildren, Breanna Kyle, Haley Nelson, Kel (Andrea) Floyd and Trent (Jordan) Floyd; niece and nephew, Ashley (Cody) O’dell and Andrew Ferguson; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She loved to go camping. She was very artistically talented. She loved painting and making silk flower arrangements.She dearly loved her fur-baby, Sparky Lee. Her best friend of 74 years, Wanda Adams Henry, followed her in death. Friends joined together again.
