Mrs. Hipps was a proud member of the Bailyton, TN class of 1947, a former Sears employee, and member of New Haven Baptist Church. Married to a career soldier and traveled with him for 23 years living in Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Sill, OK; Fort Campbell, KY; Frankfort, Germany; Nelligen, Germany; and Anniston, AL. she then resided in Anniston since 1962.
Visiting hours will be at Gray-Brown Service in Anniston, AL on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 from 11am to 12:30pm. Lois will then be transferred to Jeffers Funeral Home in Greeneville, TN where a visitation will be held at their downtown location on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 from 11am to 12pm with a chapel service immediately following.
Burial will be held at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery in Greeneville, TN at a later date.
