Margaret Louise Carlisle

Lincoln – Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret L. Boone Carlisle age 70 of Lincoln will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Cosby officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday May 10, 2011 at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carlisle Passed away May 7, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Carlisle is survived by daughters, Tammy Carlisle, Darla Rogers (husbandPaul), Lonna James (husband Scott); sister, Elizabeth Steinburg, Rebecca Watson; brother, H.E. Boone ; grandchildren, Jessica Rogers Willis, Shea Rogers, Megan Rogers, William Anthony James, Emily James; one great-grandchild, Chloe Alexis Willis.

Pallbearers will be Scott James, Ray Wyatt, Darryl Crump, Joe Miller, Michael Steinburg and Steven Steinburg; honorary pallbearer, Paul Rogers.

Mrs. Carlisle was a native of Anniston, Alabama and a resident of Lincoln. She was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from Walter Wellborn High School

Mrs. Carlisle is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years William L. Carlisle; parents, Annie L. Trammell Boone and Willie T. Boone Sr.; brothers, Willie T. Boone Jr. and Edgar boone.
