Mrs. Posey passed Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Mrs. Posey is survived by her son, John D. Posey Jr. and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Jessica D. Posey, Jennifer D. Knighten and Justin D. Posey; great grandchildren, Austin Barker and Savanna Knighten.
Mrs. Posey was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County where she graduated from Piedmont High School , she was of the Baptist faith and worked for over 35 years at the Bell South Telephone Co..
Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by mother, Sudie L. Ivey
