Marsha Slaton

A visitation for Marsha will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

Marsha is survived by her husband of 40 years, Eddie Slaton; her mother Nellie Plunkett; her daughter Carrie (John) Hughbanks; her sons Brandon (Christi) Thrasher and Keith (Jennifer) Slaton; two sisters Cheryl (Ken) Calvert and Dorris (Larry) Webb; her brother Buster (Wanda) Plunkett; sister in law Mary Brown and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Marsha is preceded in death by her father Marvin Plunkett.

Pallbearers will be Chris Calvert, Jordan Hallman, Jarrod Plunkett, Dalton Thrasher, Phillip Webb and Chris Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth Slaton, Brodie Slaton, Jacob Slaton, Justin Slaton, Seth Thrasher, Tucker Thrasher and Troy Thrasher.

Marsha graduated from Walter Wellborn High School. She was a member and past State President of Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc. Marsha was a 24 year employee of Kemp and Associates, CPA PC. She enjoyed Alabama football, vacations with family and watching her grandchildren in various sports and activities. Marsha was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
