Martha Gwendolyn Green

The funeral service for Mrs. Martha Green will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Williams. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 prior to the service at the church.

Survivors include her daughters Pam Barry (Jimmy) and Paula Ingram (Johnny); Grandchildren, Christie Thornton (Adam), Laci Post (Jason), Jennifer Troyer (Kevin), and Kaylee Ward (Kevin), Great grandchildren; Quinton Thornton, Travis Thornton, Avery Post, Rex Troyer, Eli Post, William Troyer, Lily Kate Ward and Knox Ward, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Serving as pall bearer's will be Quinton Thornton, Travis Thornton, Avery Post, Eli Post, Rex Troyer, Wendell McGinnis.

Serving as honorary pall bearer's will be William Troyer, Knox Ward, Ty Green and Darren Hamby.

She was born August 6, 1933 to John Patrick and Maude Livingston. She was the youngest of 13 children. After she graduated high school from Jacksonville she worked at a bank in Anniston until she married her sweet heart, Paul Green. She later worked at Federal Mogul for several years. This is where she made many dear friends. She ended her career at Classic on Noble where she helped prepare the food. She loved her family, her friends and her church. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.
