Weaver – Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ann Davis, 90, will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Reaves and Rev. Todd Borders officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis passed on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Carol Chitwood, Betty Howell, and Judy Williamon; brother, James Pope; twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Encouragers Sunday School Class of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Denford Davis; five brothers; one grandson.
Mrs. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was retired from Anniston Sportswear. Special thanks to all the staff of Legacy Village of Jacksonville and the staff of Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
