Mary Lou Norton Ballard

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Ballard, 100 of Anniston will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary Chapel with Rev. David Teel officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6- 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Ballard passed away Wednesday at her residence.

Survivors include her daughter Joan B. Kysiak (Phil) of Oxford, her sons James N. Ballard (Reatha) of Jacksonville, Al., John A. Ballard (Joyce) of Inverness, Fl., Joseph D. Ballard (Anita) of Gainesville, Ga., eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ballard is preceded in death by her husband James Dudley Ballard, her parents Edd and Johnnie Norton, two sisters and four brothers.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Mrs. Ballard was a native and resident of Anniston, Al. She was the oldest member of Carpenter Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ladies Fireman’s Auxiliary for several years and also worked at the polls. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
