Graveside services for Frances Nelson, 88 of Weaver, will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ron Sweat officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mrs. Nelson passed away May 6, 2016 at Anniston RMC.
Survivors include her daughter, Phylis Parker of Weaver; sons, Mike Nelson (Elaine) of Jacksonville and Rodney Glen Nelson (Beth) of Lincoln; grandchildren, Michele Reid (Kevin), Michael Nelson (Mandy), Melissa Parker Howard (David); great-grandchildren, Amber and Ashley Reid, Melody, Marshall and Marisa Nelson, Rory, Ava and Elliot Howard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Nelson; parents, Willie O. and Clara P. Craft; brother, Horace Craft and sisters, Lula Mae Ross and Lois Craft.
Mrs. Nelson was a member of Weaver First Baptist Church. She was a 1946 graduate of Anniston High School and retired from Hudsons/Kitchins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
