memorial service for Mavis
Ione Smith , 81, was
held at Forestlawn Gardens
with the Rev. Scott
Smith officiating. Mrs.
Smith passed away
Tuesday at UAB.
Survivors include her
four daughters, Belinda
Conaway (Don), Lisa
Smith, Cindy Brushaber
(Peter), Debbie Kirkwood
(Andy); brother,
Webster Robertson, of
Iuka, Miss.; grandchildren,
Callie and Charles
Conaway.
Deceased is preceded
in death by her husband,
Dr. Lee S. Smith Jr.; parents,
Frank and Beulah
Robertson; brother, Vardaman
Robertson; sisters-
in-law, Lyla Robertson
and Dot Robertson.
Mrs. Smith was a native
of Iuka Mississippi,
but lived in Alabama for
24 years. She was a loving
wife, mother and
grandmother and will be
greatly missed.
The family would like
