Michael Howard Purdy

He is survived by his sisters, René Purdy, Marilyn Downing, and Donna Funderburg, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Howard and Willie Frances Purdy, his sister Krista Billac, and his brother Larry Purdy.

Memorial Service for Mike will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Greensport Baptist Church located at 9305 Shoal Creek Rd, Ashville, Al 35953. A graveside service for Mike will be held at the Greensport Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Thursday morning February 26th, 2026.

Mike was a very unique individual who never met a stranger, he always introduced himself by as "My name is Mike Purdy and I am a Christian. Mike was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
