Michael "The Sledge" Rogers, age 61, of Anniston, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. The Sledge was born June 30, 1960. Memorial Service for Michael Rogers will be held at a later date.
Michael is survived by his wife, Drenda Rogers; his daughter Amber Bryant (William); and his son Joshua Rogers (Tab); his sister Debbie Waugh and his brother Tony Rogers; his grandchildren Michael Astudillo, Trent Rogers, Ophelia Bryant, Declan Rogers, Piper Rogers, Haley Briggs and Nylah Briggs and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Peggy Rogers; and Several Siblings.
Michael was a member of the Catholic community. He had a passion for guitars and music. He was very patriotic and loved his country. He loved his wife, Drenda dearly for 41 dedicated years. His grandkids were the love of his life and the center of his world, but his love for his furbabies was unexplainable. He loved his dogs Betty Boop and Donnie Darko like they were his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Michael was surrounded by many that loved him, and they will cherish his memory forever.
