Jacksonville - Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred V. Worthy, 89 of Jacksonville will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Weaver Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Merritt officiating with burial following at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Worthy passed away February 23, 2013 at RMC in Anniston.
Mrs. Worthy is survived by her daughters, Joan (Ronnie) King and Ann (Rick) Green; grandchildren, Kelly (Don) Birchfield, Lynn Faulkner, Jason (Christan) Green, and Andy (Brandie) Green; seven great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rick Green, Ronnie King, Jason Green, Andy Green, and Steve Hale.
Mrs. Worthy was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Worthy; son, Michael Worthy.
Mrs. Worthy was a native of Forney, Al and a member of Weaver Congregational Methodist Church.
