

Graveside service for Nancy Kimberly Owens, 75, of Tallahassee, Florida, will be at 10:30 am, Sunday, the 16th, at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Joel Owens officiating. Mrs. Owens passed away August 8th at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her sons Brad Owens of Tallahassee, FL and Joel Owens (Jennifer) of Sugarland, TX; daughter, Stacey Owens Martin (Frank Martin) of Merritt Island, FL; Grandchildren, Christy and Cali Johnson, Trent and Sydney Martin, and Susan-Caroline and Walker Owens.
Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her parents Colleen and Clayton Kimberly.
Pallbearers will be Brad Owens, Joel Owens, Frank Martin, Trent Martin, Tim Estes, and Garan Mason.
Mrs. Owens was born January 12th, 1940 in Anniston, AL. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallahassee and a cherished mother and grandmother. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1962 with a degree in music and voice. Later she moved to Merritt Island with her husband where they joined the NASA Space Program. She later worked for the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University, where she was employed until her death. Nancy loved Jesus, and was the perfect example of unconditional love to her family and friends, especially her children.
