Funeral service for Nelwyn Cain, 87, of Anniston, will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Peter Hawker officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Cain died Wednesday at her residence.
Survivors include daughters, Linda White (John), Janet Moore (Tom), Sherilyn Turley (Mike) all of Anniston, and Deidri McBrayer (Brian) of Hiram, GA; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Cheri Hawk (Glen) of Tullahoma, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cain is preceded in death by husband, Pierce Cain and son, Jerry Cain.
The family would like to extend special thanks to caregivers Lucy Jackson, Elmira Davis, Irene Christian and Vivian Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interfaith Ministries.
