Pamla is survived by her sons Grady Hunter Jr. (Kandice); Jacob Hunter (Anne Newgent); her sister Bobbie Walker (Larry); her grandchildren Aaron Scoggins (Kendall), Harley Hunter, Gus Hunter, J.D. Hunter and her great grandchild Reed Scoggins. And Many Nieces and Nephews.
Pamla was preceded in death by her husband Grady Hunter Sr; her parents James and Nellie Rooks.
Funeral services for Pamla will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Middleton Presbyterian Cemetery in Ohatchee, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Scoggins, Gus Hunter, Sam Shelton, Ken Hammonds, Jacob Hunter and Grady Hunter Jr.
Pamla was a native of Saks and a resident of Ohatchee. She graduated Saks High School and Gadsden State. Pamla retired from nursing. She was a life long advocate for all of God's creatures with a special love for dogs. She rescued and fostered many abused and abandoned puppies and dogs. She was an advocate for League for Animal Welfare. She was a faithful member to The Church, and loved to worship with her family.
