Funeral service for Phillip Thomas “Tommy” Pugh, 51, of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Bro. James Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Pugh died Tuesday evening at Noland Hospital.
Survivors include wife, Rhonda Bussey Pugh; mother, Betty Pugh; sister, Lynne Williams (George), brothers, David Pugh (Mary Anne), and Randy Pugh; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pugh is preceded in death by his father, Herman Pugh and his sister, Cheryl Rebecca “Sherrie” Pugh.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary Pallbearer will be Zach Davis.
Mr. Pugh was a lifetime resident of Anniston and a graduate of Anniston High School. He retired from Ft. McClellan and was of the Baptist faith. In his younger days he traveled local areas as a Gospel Singer, and was active in the CP Telethon. Online condolences made at www.graybrownservice.com
