Anniston – Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Padgett Chandler, 55, of Anniston will be Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating with burial to follow at Forestlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chandler passed on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at RMC in Anniston.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, Bobby Chandler; daughter, Kayla Chandler (Jake) Peeples; son, Jeff (Lori) Chandler; mother, Mary Lois Padgett; sisters, Pam Padgett (Joe) Hightower, and Pat (Roy) Daughtery; brother, Paul (Shyla) Padgett; grandchildren, Jaylyn Todd Peeples, Mandi Chandler Gilbert, and Dalton Chandler; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Padgett; son, Todd Chandler.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Chandler was born and raised in Heflin, graduated from Cleburne County High School. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church. Mrs. Chandler was a loving wife, mother, and “nona”, who will be dearly missed.
