Funeral services for Mr. Richard Dennis Robins, age 72, of Weaver, Alabama, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30th, 2023, at Westwood Baptist Church with Pastor Rodney Clingan officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens in Prattville, AL. Mr. Robins passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Brumfield and her husband Kevin; granddaughter, Avery Brumfield.
Mr. Robins is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Lucyle Robins; wife Shirley Gibson-Robins and one sister, Shirley.
Richard was a devoted member of Westwood Baptist Church. He considered Westwood an extension of family. Rick also loved anything to do with weather and assigned himself the role as resident meteorologist. He attended University of Florida in college and remained a diehard Florida Gator fan. He was loved deeply, and will be missed by all that knew him.
