Graveside services for Robert Jack Burgess, 76, of Anniston, will be 3 pm today at Edgemont Cemetery with Rev. Ken Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends today from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mr. Burgess died Sunday at Golden Living Center.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Burgess of Anniston, one daughter, Lisa Beal (Ken) of Birmingham, two sons, Scott Burgess (Lisa) of Tuscaloosa and David Burgess of Roswell, GA, three grandchildren, Bradley Burgess, Brooklyn Roberts and Ashley Beal.
Mr. Burgess was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Burgess retired from M&H Valve after 40 + years of service.
