Weaver - Funeral services for Mrs. Roxie Howard, 90 of Weaver will be Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brinkman officiating with burial following at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday January 31, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Howard passed away January 26, 2013 at Gadsden RMC.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her sons, Allen (Diane) Howard, Richard (Karen) Wynn; sisters, Nellie Akers and Willobea Rooker; brothers, Marvin Lawson, Grady Lawson, Johnny Lawson and Clarence Lawson; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2great great-grandchild.
Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Howard; sons, Warren Clay, Stanley Lawrence and Gary Eugene; sister, Florence Gradle; brothers, Walter, Lester Raymond and Sterling Lawson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Howard was a native of Harrison County, Kentucky and a long time resident of Weaver where she was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Weaver.
