Funeral Services for Roy Junior Simmons, 81 of Anniston will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Robert L. Hall officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Mr. Simmons passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife Ann Simmons of Anniston, daughters Terry Weber of West Virginia, Robin Paris of Anniston Step-daughters Meredith Rice (Keith) of Anniston, Cindy Surrett (David), Kim Moates, sons Roy Simmons II ( Angie) of Anniston, step-son James Moates Jr., twelve grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Simmons is preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce Simmons and four brothers.
Mr. Simmons was a native of West Virginia and a resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church, served in the Air Force and retired from Huron Valley Steel. He was an avid Alabama Fan and Atlanta Braves Fan.
