Sandra Ruth Brunson

Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Ruth Williams Brunson, 68, of Anniston, will be 11:00 am, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Jason King officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Brunson died Friday at Regional Medical Center

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Gene Brunson of Anniston; daughters, Janet B. Edwards of Anniston, Felisia B. Woodward of Oxford, and Dauphne B. Talley (Travis) of Oxford; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Walker of Anniston; and brother, James Williams of Anniston.

Mrs. Brunson is preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Woodward; parents, Ellis Lee Williams and Mary Irene Medders Williams; and brothers, Donald Williams and Vernon Williams.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Ginn, David Waites, Eddie Nunnelley, Andy Mullinax, Rodney Pate, Wesley List and Chris Bussey. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Brandon Slick, Chase Woodward, Morgan Patterson and Austin Patterson and great-grandchildren, Cayden Slick and Carter Slick.

Mrs. Brunson was a native of Anniston and member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She was retired from Liberty National Life Insurance.
