Johnathon Heathcock officiating
with burial to
follow at Wellington
First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will
receive friends from one
hour before service time
at the church.
Mr. Darnell passed on
Thursday, September 13,
2018 at his home.
Mr. Darnell is survived
by his wife, Joanne Darnell;
daughters, Christy
(Jeffrey) Merritt, Kristen
Holman, and Stacy (Johnathan)
Heathcock; sons,
Blake (Kaula Day) Darnell,
and Colby Darnell;
father-in-law and mother-
in-law, Joe (Debbie)
Brown, and Jean Ann
Lecroy; brothers, Charles
"Butch" (Susan) Darnell,
and Paul (Lindsey) Ford;
grandchild, Kayla Tipton
Darnell; aunts and uncles,
Don (Barbara) Patman,
and Carolyn
Hinds; brother-in-laws,
David (Michelle) Brown,
and Dewayne Brown;
and several nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers will be
Blake Darnell, Colby
Darnell, Dewayne
Brown, Axele Brown,
Drey Sturkie, Dean
Locke, Bo Darnell, and
Andy Darnell. Honorary
pallbearers will be the
tree surgeons affiliated
with Darnell’s Tree Service
and Asplundh Tree
Service.
Mr. Darnell was proceeded
in death by
mother, Margaret Patman
Ford; brother, Stoney
Ford; and loving cousin,
Stacy Patman.
Scott was the owner of
Darnell’s Tree Service
since 1996 to the present
time prior to Asplundh
Tree Service. Scott was
an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
His door was
always open, he and his
wife were chosen parents
to many children.
He was a loving husband
and father, and
was a very proud daddy
to his children.
