Sigrit Lore Aenne (Jansen) Berth

Sigrit is survived by her daughter Linda B. Wells (Michael); and her son Eric Berth (Nancy); her brother Rolf Jansen; her grandsons Jack Wells, Nathan Wells, Brandon Berth, her great- grandchildren Zoey Wells, Elli Wells and Wylee Wells.

Sigrit was preceded in death by her husband Adolf Berth and her parents Friedrich and Irene Jansen.

A visitation for Sigrit will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Gardens, 4000 US Highway 431, Anniston, Alabama 36206.

Serving as pallbearers are Eric Smith, Jason Smith, Jack Wells, Nathan Wells, Michael Wells and Edwin Hearon.

Sigrit was a military housewife to Adolf Berth and a mother of two children. She was a big part of the Women's' Gardening Club and Breast Cancer Survivors Group. She was an Army Community Service volunteer for many years. She was an avid swimmer. She was dedicated to honoring the German traditions and continuing the traditions on throughout other homes as well.
