Stanley Folsom

Memorial service for Stanley Lavell Folsom, 83, of Anniston will be Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Brother Ron Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Springs Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1-2 P.M. Mr. Folsom passed away Friday in Anniston. Survivors include daughters Linda Misianowycz (Michael), Donna Lee (David), and Tina Lindsay; grandchildren, Tony, Chris, Dustin, Angel, Tina and Joey; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jessie, Sunshine, Summer, Haley, Wyatt, Travis, Logan, Matt, Sammy, Debbie, Bryson, Alley, Joey Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Folsom is preceded in death by his wife (Annie) Joann Folsom (Shumaker), daughter, Teresa Barton, granddaughter, Brandi Lowrey and grandson, Jamie Lowrey. Honorary pallbearers will be, David Lee, Tony Eldridge, Chris Eldridge, Dustin Neighbors, Joshua Lowrey and Michael Misianowycz. Mr Folsom served in the U.S. Army in Korea, last worked for Webb Concrete, was a born again Christian, and loved to play the guitar, banjo and sing bluegrass music. He was well known for his love and caring of family and friends.
