Steven Scott Couch, age 63, of Ohatchee, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by father, Thomas Couch, mother June T. Couch, and brother Daniel Couch all of Oxford, Alabama.
Left to cherish his memory are son Tyler Hughes (Leesa). daughters Deanna Sayre (Wesley), and Emily Massie (Galen). Also left to cherish his memory are grandson Alexander Hughes, grand daughters Melody Sayre, Riley Massie, and great granddaughter Kenleigh Landers.
Steve was married for over 30 years to his beloved and devoted wife, June D. Couch, who succeeded him in death by two days, on March 17, 2025. Both were inseparable in life and death.
Steve was a beloved father, grandfather and son. Steve graduated from Wellborn High School in 1980, and joined the family business of Couch's Mobile Home Park in Oxford, Alabama. After retirement in 2021, Steve and June moved to Ohatchee to live a quiet life in the country.
Steve enjoyed Alabama football, WWE wrestling, reality television, and adored his pups. He was a busybody, and could always be found out in the yard or working on a project. He had a sense of humor and could always put a smile on your face.
Steve and June were members of Oak Bowery in Ohatchee. They loved their church family and their LLL Group. They will be dearly missed by their loved ones. A graveside service will be held for both on Tuesday the 25th at Forestlawn Cemetery at 11am.
Steven will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn , 730 Golden Springs Rd., AL 36207. On Tuesday March 25, 2025 @ 11:00 am Graveside service. Family and friends are welcome.
