Miss Susan Annette Bonds

Jesup, Ga. – Funeral service for Miss Susan Annette Bonds, age 43, of Jesup Ga., will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Saks with Dr. Randy Postell and Rev. Van Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville, AL. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Miss Bonds passed away July 24, 2010 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL .

Survivors include Parents, John Robert Bonds and Sarah Ann Bonds; brothers Rev. Glenn Bonds and wife Debbie, Jeff Bonds, Bryan Bonds and wife Emily; nieces and nephews, Amy and husband Corey Clark, Miller Bonds, Jeffrey Bonds, Jonathan Bonds, and Anne Marie Bonds.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bonds, Miller Bonds, Wayne Hughes, Corey Clark, Scott Hoyle, and Felton Burke. Honorary Pallbearers will be The SORT (Special Operations Response Team) of Jesup. GA.

Miss Bonds was a native of Calhoun County. She was strong in her faith and attended First Baptist Church of Saks in her youth and was currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jesup, GA. She was a graduate of Saks High School and Jacksonville State University as a business major with a degree in accounting and management. She was employed with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Corrections Institution of Jesup, GA, in the financial management department.
