Tia Lynn Broome

Memorial services for Tia Lynn Broome, 64, of Alexandria, Alabama will be 2 pm Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Bert Broome officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 - 2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Broome Passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Survivors include her children; Heather Buchanan, Lane Phillips and Matt Phillips, step-daughters, Audrey Broome and Jinny Broome, grandchildren; Keegan Buchanan, Keeli Buchanan and several step-grandchildren, step-sister, Donna Riley, brother, Jerry Williams and step-brother, Gary Gay, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Broome is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Broome, mother, Frances Gay, step-father, Aubrey Gay and father, Alton Williams.

Mrs. Broome was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a 1976 graduate of Alexandria High School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and step-grandchildren and fur babies. In her younger days she loved listening to Sawyer Brown music.
