Tony Edgar Shears

Tony is survived by his loving companion Tina "Granny" Shears; his daughter Ashley Shears; his step daughter Jessica Gaston; his son Dustin "Mudhole" Shears; his step sons Charlie Allan, Mikie Allan, and Thomas Allan; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his daughter Brandy Shears, his brothers Doug Shears and Charles Shears; his parents Richard "Sunshine" and Beulah Shears and his sisters Elaine, Kathleen and Doris.

A visitation for Tony will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201 with Rev. Collett officiating. Following the service will be a burial at Forestlawn Gardens, 730 Golden Springs Rd., Anniston, Alabama 36207.

Tony was a member of the American Legion. He loved to spend his time hunting and fishing in the outdoors and in nature. He was a kind and loving man to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
