Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Bonds; daughter, Velda Lynn Bonds; son, Stephen Harris Bonds (Sherry); step-children, Reba Johnson, Shelley Mooney (Brad), Kelley Miller (Scott), Billy Moon Jr.; grandchildren, Rebecca Nicole Bonds, Garrett Bonds, and Griffin Bonds; seven step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Mandy Bishop; and brother, Phillips Bonds.
Mr. Bonds is preceded in death by parents, Roscoe and Flora Mae Bonds; sibling, Sadie Bonds, Charlie Bonds and Lee Bonds, Bobby Bonds and Pat Atkins.
Mr. Bonds was a lifelong residence of Calhoun County and attended Alexandria High School. He served is the U.S Air Force for 26 years, after his military service he worked at the Anniston Army Depot for over 10 years. He also worked for H&R Block for the past 20 years. He was a Christian and member of Harvest Church of God. Mr. Bonds was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered as a Christian who loved his family and his church will all his heart.
