Funeral services for Vivian Maxine “Granny Mac” Pressley, 87, of Anniston, will be 11 am Today, December 11, 2012, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Randy Hayes officiating. Entombment will follow at Forestlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends today from 10 – 11 am at the funeral home. Mrs. Pressley died Sunday at NHC.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Joyce Shears of Anniston and Donna Kay Estes (David) of Barfield, four sons, Samuel Earl Pressley (Connie) of Munford, Stephen Douglas Pressley (Lydia) of Anniston, Kenneth Wade Pressley (Lynda) of Oxford and James Roger Pressley (Karen) of North Carolina, one sister Joyce Greene Hess of Anniston, eleven grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pressley is preceded in death by husband, Sam Pressley Jr., mother Rubin Royster, father, James C. Rogers, brother, J.C. Rogers and granddaughter, Leisa Rena Shears.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Pressley was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of the Church on the Rock. The family would like to thank the staff at NHC.
