

Funeral service for Wayne Turley, 77, of Anniston will be at 2pm Wednesday, April 15th at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Jim Kelly and Dr. Donald Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.
Mr. Turley passed on Saturday at RMC to be reunited with his wife of 56 years, Lucy Edna Turley. He was also preceded in death by his parents, J.B and Susie Turley; brother Sonny Turley; and sister, Sara Fesler.
Survivors include his sons Ronald Wayne Turley (Kaye) and Guy Radford Turley (Paula); grandchildren, Westley W. Turley, Nichalos W. Turley, Matthew T. Turley, Russell T. Turley, Christian Hunter Turley and Christin Camille Turley; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Martin, Ben Martin, Robby Turley, Jonathan Broom, Ronald Broom, and Josh Willingham. Honorary Pallbearers will be his deacon brothers.
Retired from Lee Brass after over 40 years, Mr. Turley loved fishing, Auburn football and coaching youth sports of all kinds. He loved working with young people and was on the Board of Directors at Anniston Boys Club. Mr. Turley was also a Deacon for over 40 years, and was a member of West Park Heights Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and all his family.
