William Eugene Cody

He was born March 6th, 1948 to Edwin and Mildred Cody.

He is survived by his wife; Connie Cody, daughter; Holly Chumley, son; Scott Cody (Vicki), sister; Cathy Keel (Daryl), brother; Ronald Cody (Marie), grandchildren; Cortney Brimer (Dewayne), Alyssa Mitchell, Mason Deline (Kaylee), Taylor Johnson (Jakob), Aaron Cody (Bailey), Olivia Chumley, and Fisher Chumley, Great-Grandchildren; Collyn, Kaden, Korbyn, Luka, Cooper, Parker, Baylor, and Barrett, Great-Great grandchild; Westyn, niece; Daphne Hines, nephew; Jay Cody, and several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mildred Cody.

William was a native of Anniston. He served 4 years in the Air Force and then later retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a family man who loved his kids and grandkids.

Every morning he would wake up, drink his coffee, and spend hours reading his bible and writing. He was a Godly man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Gray-Brown Service on Friday, November 28th, 2025 from 12PM to 1PM. The funeral service will be held at 1 PM.

A graveside service will follow at Forestlawn Gardens.
