Papa,
Since you left the world and myself I have found little comfort in much of anything. I miss you dearly and have cried enough tears alone, I could have very well drown. I wish I knew if you were okay. I feel that even hevean worthy of your soul, you were the greatest, most inspiring person in my life. I would give anything to have 10 minutes with you again. I love you, and I will always keep you in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. Thank you Papa.

Don't think of him as gone away- 
his journey's just begun,

Just think of him as resting

I remember my Uncle Tony as a handsome lean man that filled the house with the smell of his pipe.  He was very soft spoken and easy going.  Rest in peace, Uncle Tony.  God bless Aunt Susie, Lizzie, and his grandchildren as they go through this very sad time.  Love, Robyn (Pat's daughter)

I remember staying with Liz for the weekend when we were about 10. Tony took us down to the barn to milk the cow. It was the most exciting thing I'd ever done to that point. I can still still see him sitting on the stool with the pipe in his mouth! I thought he was the coolest guy! I'd never seen a cow milked before! Liz and I carried that bucket up to the house and I was mortified when Liz drank the milk! Warm! Tony to me was one of the kindest, soft spoken people I've ever met. May God reunite father and sons. Love you Tony.

My memories of Uncle Tony go way back, because I was the first born grandchild of the seven brothers and sisters. My mother is Patricia, Tony's oldest sister. I remember the wonderful Christmas and holiday gatherings at Grandma Hartfiel's when all seven of the brothers and sisters were there, way back in the 1960's. Everyone talked and laughed and enjoyed each others company so much. I remember my mom visiting Aunt Susie, while my sister Kathy, brother Mick (Mickey at that time) and I played with cousins Lizzie and Joey. I also remember a really fun Halloween party at Grandma's with the family in 1980 or so.  And I will never forget that tragic day when my parents received the call of Cousin Joey's death at age 11. He had been hit by a car and was only two years younger than me. And then years later to hear of the loss of Tony Eddie when he was hit by lightening at age 20. I can't imagine the pain that Uncle Tony, Aunt Susie and Cousin Lizzie have had to bear. I feel sad that I have not seen Uncle Tony for many years, but I remember him as a quiet, yet strong man with a wonderful smile. It is really hard to lose a family member. But, I take comfort in knowing he is with his boys. I pray that Aunt Susie, Cousin Lizzie and the rest of the family will be blessed with God's love and healing.  Vicky

Papa, I hope you know how much I have learned from you and how hard it is knowing that you are not here anymore.  Everything I do I will do to make you proud.  I thank God that I had you as my grandpa and I thank you for raising me.   I love you very much, and I always will.

Grampa--He wasn't my real Grandpa, but that is what I called him.  He was one of the few people left in this world who still called me Cinderella.  He was also my beer drinking buddy.  I will miss you Uncle Tony.  Your niece, Cinderella Horn

Heaven has been blessed with one of the most gentle and kind hearted people I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life.  God Bless and keep you safe within His loving arms.

My uncle Tony.... Just thinking of him makes me smile.  I feel sad knowing I lost touch with him over the last ten years or so but the memories I do have were of a very handsome man who was always kind to me. I remember going to his house when I was very young and my brother and I would play in his yard that apparently was a bunch of used scrap items from cars and such, but my brother and I would have such a blast. The last time I saw him I was able to have a good conversation with him and that memory will stay with me forever. May you rest in peace my uncle Tony with our Lord and Savior.
