Daniel Andrew Fjeld

Daniel A. Fjeld, age 63, passed away on July 6th, 2023. Preceded in death by Father Larry Fjeld, Sister Debra Emery, and Brother-in-Law Michael Ornat. Survived by Daughter Alicia Abernathy, Mother Fern Emery, Father Gary Emery (Nancy), Sisters Anita Parenteau (Rodney), Linette Carlson (Timothy), Dacia Johnson (Todd), Step-Sister Jennifer Bezhig, Nieces Ashley, Dayanara, Qadira, Rachel, Nephews David, Tyler, Brandon, Quentin, Jeovany, Matthew, Step-Mother Gerri Fjeld.

Dan was born in Fergus Falls, MN and grew up in Ham Lake, MN. Graduate of Blaine High School '78. He was a proud journeyman Pipefitter of Local 539 for 37 years and worked for the University of MN as a Foreman of Facilities Mgmt for 26 years and he took great pride working there. He loved to ride his Harley until an unfortunate accident which put him into his second love, his Cherry Red Corvette and then onto his high performance Jeep Grand Cherokee. He loved to go for his cruises, whether they were up to his Dad Gary's in Fergus Falls or to his Mom's Campground in Barnum, MN or just tooling around town. Dan had such a big heart, he liked to give money at Christmas to families in need. He always said around Christmas time to his family to not buy him anything, to give to the kids.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home, 552 East River Rd, Anoka, MN, 55303 followed by a Service of Remembrance at 11:30am.
