Dolores Crescentia Pinor was born on October 1, 1928, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Chester and Eleanor Orth. On July 24th, 1948, Dolores married Kenneth Pinor at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. They made their way through life living in St. Cloud, Chisholm, Minneapolis, and Coon Rapids. They were blessed with six children.
Her faith was an important part of her life and she was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church for many years. Dolores was a homemaker and an amazing mom. She described herself as a Domestic Engineer: Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, cook, cleaner, gardener, canner, baker, caretaker, cribbage player all fit the role. She lived a simple life, on her own terms, and her greatest love was her family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Kenneth; son, Kenneth Jr.; granddaughter, Alison Bidne; son-in-law, Jim Peterson; parents, Chester and Eleanor Orth; brothers, Arthur, Alfred, Walter, Ervin and Richard.
Dolores is survived by her children, Sharon (Dennis) Ervin, Karen (Virgil) Bidne, Michael (Jennifer) Pinor, David (Wendy) Pinor, and Teri Peterson; 12 grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsi), Meghan, Joe (Jennifer), Ben (Emily), Lauren (Brandon), Michael Jr., Beth (Jake), Caleb (Shaylee), Tyler, Abby, Jordan, Dillon; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernice Kalusche, Lloyd (Jonelle) Orth; sister-in-laws, Florence Orth and Audrey Pilger; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Church of St. Anthony, 2405 1st St N, St Cloud. Visitation one hour prior. Interment at 12:15 pm at Assumption Cemetery, 2341 Roosevelt Rd, St Cloud, and luncheon to follow back at church.
